Refund policy

At Decoreamz we want you to love your home decor purchases. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to make it easy to resolve. Please review our return and refund policy below for a seamless experience.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In brand-new condition, unused, unworn, and unassembled.
  • In its original packaging with all tags and accessories included.
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Returned within 30 days of delivery.

Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, in which case Decoreamz will cover the return shipping fees.

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact Us: Initiate a return by filling out the contact form on our Contact Page or emailing us at contact@decoreamz.com. Please provide your order number, recipient name, and reason for the return.
  2. Approval and Instructions: If approved, we’ll provide a return shipping label and instructions on how to send your package. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
  3. Return Inspection: Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you within 7 business days whether the refund or exchange is approved.

Cancellations

  • Before Shipment: You may cancel your order within 24 hours of payment for a full refund. Contact us at contact@decoreamz.com with your order details to process the cancellation.
  • After Shipment: If the order has shipped, we’ll attempt to recall the package. A recall fee of $25 per box may apply. If the recall is successful, a refund will be processed within 2-3 business days after the item is returned to our warehouse. If a recall isn’t possible, you may need to refuse delivery and monitor tracking information.

Important: Cancellations are not guaranteed until confirmed by our customer service team.

Refusing Delivery

If you refuse delivery without prior approval from Decoreamz, you may be responsible for additional shipping and handling fees. For cancellations due to damaged or defective items, please contact us with photos or videos of the issue to avoid extra costs.

Damages, Defects, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@decoreamz.com. Include photos or a short video showing the issue, packaging, and external labels to expedite resolution. We’ll evaluate the issue and may provide a replacement, repair, or refund. Issues reported after 30 days may be harder to resolve, but we’ll do our best to assist.

Note: Decoreamz will not cover repair costs if unauthorized contractors are used.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom or personalized decor
  • Clearance & Outlet Items
  • Live plants
  • Fabric sold by the yard
  • Gift cards
  • Assembled or disassembled products
  • Items beyond 30 days from delivery

For defective or damaged items, these exclusions do not apply. Please provide photos or videos of the issue for assistance.

Packaging Requirements

Returned items must be in their original packaging. If the original packaging is unavailable, a repackaging fee of $45 per item may apply.

Exchanges

To exchange an item, return the original item following the return process. Once approved, place a new order for the desired item to ensure the fastest resolution.

Refunds

  • Processing: Once your return is received and approved, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. It may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.
  • Non-Refundable Costs: Shipping charges and any applicable recall or repackaging fees are non-refundable.
  • Delayed Refunds: If more than 15 business days have passed since approval without receiving your refund, contact us at contact@decoreamz.com.

If the original payment method is unavailable, we may issue a store credit for the refund amount.

Missing Packages

If your package hasn’t arrived within the expected delivery time, email us at contact@decoreamz.com with your order and tracking numbers. We’ll investigate and work to resolve the issue promptly.
